Conference Workshop „Experience Change“: Not until the heart went along with the mind things made progress!

The hands-on exercise for 80 participants was moderated by Stephan Gerd Meyer and 7 more trainers at the 5th. International EAHAE Conference ( European Association for Horse Assited Education ). For their common topic, the Horse Assisted Education, they passed through four milestones of an integral change management process according to David Cooperriders concept of „Appreciative Inquiry“:

1. What is really good now in Horse Assisted Education?
2. What is our collective vision and which are the individual dreams?
3. What is needed to make the vision become reality?
4. How could the future of Horse Assisted Education look like?

Assisted and conducted by six horses the particioants passed through the process and the results were striking: Only when the open interaction with the horses replaced the executing of intellectual concepts, commonalities could be perceived and cler results could be obtained!
