Experience Values - German Bank Has Set a Course

The managing board of the building and loan association of a big German bank decided to set up horse assited seminars for the whole staff to experience the new developped value-orientation within the corporate culture instead of discussing it intellectually.

All the 240 employees - despite very few exceptions - used the opportunity in the last few weeks to strengthen the mutual trust, to check out everybodys personal values, potentials and limitations and to boost the motivation for upcoming projects. Every participant could find out new insights about themselves and their colleagues and improve the face-to-face connection to each other this way. Frankness and curiosity characterized the 30 seminars moderated by 13 trainers out of the HorseDream-Partners network.

Our comment: great! The managing board invests in the vital and natural development of the corporate culture, leaves open the results that each participant takes home individually and has confidence that - if each participant experiences one „I see“ only - at least 240 „I see“ will add to the corporate culture. Statements straight from the participants´mouth: „I take effect - whatever I do“, „ Mi personal and professional values are exactly the same“, „It´s worth it to confront the constraints of the comfort zone regularly“, „I attain confidence if  I open up“.
